CLAPA-Cambridge is the branch of national charity CLAPA, that was set up in 1979 as a partnership between parents and health professionals. CLAPA Head Office is based in London with 17 branches (branches are all run by volunteers). It provides support for new parents, and for people with the condition and their families, from infancy through to adulthood. We were able to organize many events and support families that are affected by a cleft lip and/or a cleft palate thanks to a valuable support of many Individuals, the Addenbrooke’s Cleft Team and the CLAPA head office staff. Many thanks to all of you who had helped us organize different activities, kindly donated funds and supported us by coming to our parties. Also a very special thank you to everyone in the cleft Team for their support and dedication to improve the care for children and families affected by this condition.
