CLAPA-Cambridge has been very active since 2004.  It’s  the branch of national charity CLAPA,  that was set up in 1979 as a partnership between parents and health professionals.  CLAPA-Cambridge committee members provides support for new parents, and for people with the condition and their families, from infancy through to adulthood.  We were able to organize many events, support families that are affected by a cleft lip and/or a cleft palate and finance different project to enhance the cleft care, THANKS to YOUR valuable support, committee members, the Addenbrooke’s Cleft Team and the CLAPA  head office staff.  Many thanks to all of you who had helped us organize different activities, kindly donated funds and supported us by coming to our parties.  Also a very special thank you to everyone in the cleft Team for their support and providing the excellent care for children and families affected by cleft.
