A? VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU MR DARREN SWALES FOR DONATING ?1490, RAISED BY RUNNING THE? LONDON MARATHON IN APRIL, 2007?

“I am part of round table which is a national and international organisation for young men 18-45 and I’m vice chairman of Huntingdon. We organise various fundraisers throughout the year, charity balls and our main fundraiser is Christmas carol float. When we're not fundraising we give the money back out to local individuals and groups.   We try to stay clear of  national charity donations so we can see we've made of difference to our local communities.  I proposed a donation of  £300 pounds to the other members of my table and they agreed it to be a fair amount.  We are comprised of volunteers so are always looking for new members”.  (Lee Brooks, www.hunts410.webs.com )

MR & MRS NOEL AND KATE TOBIN ORGANISED A FUNDRAISING EVENT AND RAISED A FANTASTIC AMOUNT OF £1025.71.  They have kindly donated £300.00 from the amount raised towards Mr Hall’s work with Operation Smile.  The branch is committed to help towards Mr Hall’s travelling expenses with Operation Smile to India and Ethiopia, and we are very grateful for their kindness and support towards his work overseas.  Thank you very much!!

RAISED AT HER  80TH BIRTHDAY PARTY’ (Cheque presented at the ‘Summer’ Party)

Here is a reasonably recent picture of our son Donovan who underwent surgery for a cleft lip and soft palate in 2008. We think that the surgeons and clapa team did a marvelous job and want to share the attached picture to highlight this. We had him christened in Oct 2009 and raised £290 at his christening party for clapa cambridge as we wanted to give something back for the excellent service we all received. Kind regards,

Daniel, Sarah, Donovan Vassiliou
