JAIMEE TUCK AND CHILDREN AT THE RACKHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL IN WITCHFORD, CAMBRIDSHIRE,  RAISED A FANTASTIC AMOUNT OF £228.12 FOR CLAPA  ON NON-UNIFORM DAY

(Jaimee on non-uniform day)

My name is Jaimee Tuck, I am 11 years old.  My little sister Molly was born 2 months early at Addenbrookes hospital.  When she was a couple of days old one of the nurses realised that Molly had a very wide cleft palate.  It looked like she had no top of her mouth.  Molly has had two operations at Addenbrookes hospital to fix her cleft and is now a very cheeky 2 ½ year old.   Mr Tariq Ahmad did the operations.

Molly has needed lots of help from the hospital and from CLAPA.  CLAPA have been really helpful to my mum and dad.  They have been good to me and Molly,  we have been to the summer and winter parties that the Cambridge branch run, they are really good fun.  I thought it would be a nice idea to try and raise some money for CLAPA to say Thank you.  You can read more about the THE EVENT

A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MR AND MRS POOLE,  FOR DONATING A FANTASTIC AMOUNT OF £200 RAISED
AT CHARLOTTE POOLE CHRISTENING DAY

Her mum, Maz said; Our daughter Charlotte Poole (Norwich) was born in January 2008 with a unilateral cleft lip and palate and we have been amazed at the support we have had from Clapa and so we kept thinking about how we could help and give something back. Our baby daughter was christened on March 15th at St Marys Church Rickinghall and so rather than give presents our guests donated money instead. The Christening day went very well and we were really pleased to have raised £200 for Clapa as we feel this is a great charity to support and thank you for the hard work everyone puts in, we really appreciate it.
